Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for the installation and support of SONARtrac® Flow and Entrained Air/Gas products and write reports as required by the position. This person will also provide training to end users and technical sales reps, provide customer feedback to the product development teams, will participate, as required, in product development team meetings to ensure products are easily installed, easily serviced and meet the functional and performance needs of our customers. This person will have one-on-one contact with customers.
Experience:
Candidate should have experience in an Instrument and Controls environment (ideally with flow or composition instruments) as an end user or in a Customer Support Role preferred. Must have electro-mechanical and computer skills.
Education/Skills:
- Technical or Engineering Degree
- Must have outstanding communication and inter-personal skills
- Must be team and goal oriented
- Experience in an Instrument and Controls environment
- Strong computer skills
- SA continuing education course a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and post sales support of SONARtrac® products
- Perform field tests and surveys
- Perform field upgrades of installed systems
- Provide customer service and product training to end users and technical sales reps
- Communicate and work with the product development team
- Technical writing and training skills a must
- Ability to travel with minimal notice required
- This position requires maintaining a regular presence in Ft. McMurray, Alberta for extended periods of time. Housing and auto supplied while away.
