January 22, 2003: Texas Instruments Makes Wide-Ranging Optical Signal Processing Announcements at Photonics West
TI will make a series of announcements concerning OSP applications of the Digital Micromirror device (DMD). Many of these will relate to the OSP1000 Development/Evaluation Kit and chipset, generating enormous interest among optical networking and optical signal processing application developers. The release also points to Newport's announcement of the LambdaCommander, a product which leverages CiDRA expertise in applying the OSP1000 chipset.
