SLURRYtrac™ utilizing CiDRA’s patented non-contact passive sonar and signal processing techniques are now being utilized by operators in plants to map out and characterize the velocity profile of bitumen-rich hydrotransport slurries and coarse sand tailings slurries. Oilsands operators are now able to, in real time, study and begin to understand the causes and effects related to oilsands conditioning in a hydrotransport line leading to improved grade and yield.
