Field Service Technician - SMARThatch (Midwest)

Position Summary:

CiDRA Concrete Systems is looking for a Field Service Technician to provide installations, maintenance and training support for CiDRA products to customers and channel partners alike. They must demonstrate knowledge of CiDRA products and be able to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the field while maintaining the highest level of safety and professionalism. The Field Technician must be flexible with their time and willing to adapt to customer needs in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Upon training and understanding of CiDRA products, they must be able to provide a technical explanation of the product and perform basic field operations and maintenance safely.

Experience:

Associates Degree, trade certification (electrical and/or mechanical,) or Military Experience with a minimum of two years experience as a field technician ideally in an industrial setting installing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment. Prior Concrete industry experience preferred.

Education/Skills:

  • Associates Degree or trade certification from a technical school or Military Experience as a technician.
  • Must have experience installing and servicing electrical or mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • ACI Concrete Field Service Technician- Level 1.
  • OSHA or MSHA Safety Training Certification.
  • Must have a sales driven attitude when interacting with customers.
  • Must be able to explain technical aspects of CiDRA products.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.

Job Functions and Requirements:

  • Maintains a “Safety First” attitude and practice.
  • Properly operate and maintain hand and power tools.
  • Must pass physical exam and prove fitness required to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must be able to commit 40-50% of time to travel.
  • Complete required company documentation.
  • Keep detailed work records and schedules.
  • Promptly respond to customer complaints and issues.
  • Maintain constant written and verbal communications with customers.
  • Complete required company and customer documentation, writing reports as required. Work with customers, CiDRA engineers, service technicians, and business development team members to provide installation and maintenance services related to CiDRA products.
