Wallingford, CT - October 3, 2017

CiDRA to present at the 2017 Metallic Mining Hall Congress (MMH), to be held in Seville, Spain, at the FIBES Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla, in Seville.
October 17-19, 2017.

Luis Gutierrez, CiDRA’s Business Development Manager for Latin America, will be sharing a presentation titled, Optimizing Secondary Grinding Circuits with Realtime Particle Size Tracking on Individual Cyclones.

Details for this presentation:
Date: Tuesday, October 17th
Time: 15:30

Luis’s presentation will cover the development and application of a new technology that allows mine sites to improve process control by using strategies based on individual cyclone measurements, and consolidated signal measurements of the entire cyclone battery. Furthermore, Luis will show several recent applications where concentrator plants have selected and implemented this novel particle size tracking technology on individual cyclones due to the deficiencies of existing technologies and the excellent financial metrics, such as a payback period of less than one year.

CiDRA will also be exhibiting at the event at booth #2257, so please join them at the conference and discuss the advantages and benefits this solution will bring to your process.
This is the second edition of MMH Seville organized by Regional Government (Junta de Andalucía); the Association of Extracting, Mining-Metallurgic Transforming and Service Companies, Aminer; the National Confederation of Mining and Metallurgy Companies, CONFEDEM; the Federation of Metal Companies, FEDEME; the Mining Engineering Association in the South of Spain and the Technical Engineering and Degrees in Mining and Energy Association. This year’s congress will deal with sustainability, linked to different aspects affecting metallic mining and other related sectors, such as metallurgy and the iron and steel industry which also have to do with technological progress, environment protection and the improvement in processes and performance, thus increasing efficacy in the extraction and treatment of resources.
