CiDRA to Present at Comminution 2018

11th Comminution Symposium • Cape Town, South Africa • Vineyard Hotel • April 16-19, 2018

Wallingford, CT • March 28, 2018

Joe Felix will be sharing a presentation titled, Assessing the Benefits of Automatic Grinding Control Using PST Technology for True On-Line Particle Size Measurement.

Details for this presentation:
Date/Time: Wednesday, April 18th at 9:30 am

Joe’s presentation will cover an innovative technology for real-time particle size measurement, developed by CiDRA Minerals Processing, under its commercial name CYCLONEtrac Particle Size Tracking system (PST), which has been proven in many commercial installations, demonstrating near 100% availability with minimal maintenance, thus overcoming the limitations of previous technologies.
Furthermore, he will present a methodology for estimating the expected economic value that automatic grind control projects would deliver, allowing investment decision makers a reliable analysis and value estimate. Based on actual plant operating records, accumulated over long periods of time, the evaluation approach described here assesses and highlights the significant potential process improvement to be expected from this unique technology.

CiDRA/Felix Project Management will also be exhibiting at the event, so please join them at Booth #13 to discuss the advantages and benefits this solution will bring to your process.
This is the 11th Comminution Symposium, organized by Minerals Engineering International (MEI) in consultation with Professor Aubrey Mainza. This year’s congress aims to profile cutting edge research and innovation in all aspects of crushing, grinding and ultrafine grinding in the minerals industry.
