Acid leak lines in Zinc production use volumetric flow measurement to monitor the flow of zinc sulfate slurry within the separation tanks. CiDRA’s non-contact SONARtrac® flow meter helps optimize this process by eliminating process downtime and reducing the cost of replacements due to to wear from direct contact with the slurry.
